Talent Development Services in one aspect are supposed to build high level skills and offer services to the students and freshers in need of them to become good. It fills the academic needs of some students and that is where the need arises. It is a political and advocacy question, and it is particularly crucial since most students are currently graduates of families with low-income or racial/ethnic minorities. Unless the educational system is capable of nurturing the abilities of the low-income students, then what is the purpose? In gifted teaching, tension always exists between two supposed objectives which is nurturing excellence and ensuring equity.
